Micro Hydro Laboratory is a simulator for teaching aid to learn the basic power generation from hydro power. Water flow and pressure is provided from pump as closed loop. Turbine housing are made with transparent body in on side to observe the characteristic and behaviour of different hydraulic turbines at different head and flow. We have three types of simulator with different specification in accordance to level of education and its complexity.
Type of turbines we used are Crossflow, Pelton, Propeller and Francis turbine. BASIC model are intented for exhibition and show, MEDIUM model suitable for vocational school (SMK) and ADVANCE model for technical school in the level of polytechnic or university. Level of measurement and testing instrument are customs according to requirement, especially for Advance model can be equipped with sensors and remote monitoring function.
